Sixteen Iowa Federation of Republican Women (FRW) members, including Gwen Ecklund, of Denison, will serve as delegates and alternate delegates to the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee July 15-18 to represent Iowa in formally nominating the president and vice president of the United States on the Republican ticket. 

Iowa FRW members who are delegates and alternate delegates are Attorney General Brenna Bird; Rachel Cadena; Michelle Crawford; Darla Chappel; Gwen Ecklund; Rep. Cindy Golding; Debra Heldt; Tracee Knapp; Kelley Koch; Jeanita McNulty; Rep. Anne Osmundson; Teresa Paulsrud; Starlyn Perdue; Governor Kim Reynolds, Tamara Scott, and Sen. Cherielynn Westrich. 

Ecklund is a two-time former Iowa FRW president. She will be an alternate delegate at the convention.

“I have participated in several RNC conventions over the years as a guest and attended National Federation of Republican Women events held during convention. In addition to official convention duties, I will attend the NFRW and Maggie’s List events,” said Ecklund, who also serves as Maggie’s List Iowa director.
