Lynn Schroeder

Graveside services with military honors for Lynn Schroeder, 79, of Manilla, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at the Nishnabotna Cemetery in Manilla. 

He passed away Monday, July 15, at his home.

Survivors include his sisters, Connie (Bill) Natzke, of Rochester, Minnesota, and Carmen Schroeder, of Papillion, Nebraska; three nephews, Todd (Shannon) Natzke, Ryan (Kristin) Natzke, and Dean (Cindi) Edmunds; a niece, Sarah (Larry) Willmott; numerous great-nephews and nieces; and three great-great-nephews and a niece. 

Services were entrusted to the Ohde Funeral Home. 

William Fineran

William “David” Fineran, 77, of Odebolt, passed away on Monday, July 15, at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, July 19, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Odebolt. Military rites will be conducted by the Ehlers & Gerken Post No. 0694 of the American Legion of Arcadia.

Interment will follow at St. Martin’s Catholic Cemetery in Odebolt.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a vigil service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Odebolt.

The Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home in Odebolt is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
