Ann Brus

Funeral services for Ann Brus, 69, of Denison, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8, at First United Methodist Church in Denison with burial at the Nishnabotna Cemetery in Manilla. 

She passed away Wednesday, July 31, in Council Bluffs.

Survivors include her husband, John Brus, of Denison; four sons, Erich Brus and his wife, Kelli, of Urbandale, Matthew Brus, of Ames, David Brus, of Denison, and Joel Brus and his wife, Caci, of Ida Grove; six grandchildren; two sisters, Claudia and her husband, John Hauser, of Council Bluffs, and Debra and her husband, Rene Holsapple, of Marshalltown; a brother, David Coffey and his, wife Janice, of Council Bluffs; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Services were entrusted to the Huebner Funeral Home.

Viola H. Riley Shrimpton

Visitation with family greeting friends for Viola H. Riley Shrimpton, 85, of Deloit, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, August 9, at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison with graveside services to follow at the Deloit Cemetery. 

She passed away Friday, August 2, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.

 Survivors include her children, Rick J. Riley, of Deloit, Joe F. Riley and his wife, Candy, of Schaller, and Lisa and her husband, Trent Oloff, of Bellevue, Nebraska; four grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Mathies and his wife, Deb, of Deloit; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Services are entrusted to the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison.
