Scout paper drive on September 9

The Boy Scouts of Troop 55 in Denison will conduct their monthly paper drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, at the Walmart parking lot.  

The Scouts will be there to help unload tied, bundled or sacked newspapers.  

People may bring their acceptable papers in paper bags or cardboard boxes, but not in plastic bags.

The amount of cardboard should be limited.

Schleswig VFW Auxiliary to meet September 11

Schleswig VFW Auxiliary will conduct its monthly meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, September 11, at the Schleswig Golf Course. 

Items on the agenda are poppy sales, Hoffman window, RAP cards and other items.

Denison Library Friends meeting

The Denison Library Friends will meet at 5:30 p.m. on September 11 in the Carnegie Room at Norelius Community Library. 

The public is invited to attend.
