May 30, 6:38 p.m.: Kyle David Confere, 24, of Harlan, was arrested for public intoxication.

May 31, 4:04 p.m.: The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one-vehicle accident that happened on Highway 39.  Dispatch received an automatic crash detection mapping at 250th Street and E Avenue. There was no response from the driver, but dispatch could hear a horn honking. On scene, the investigating officer at first could not see the vehicle down in the ditch but just south of E Avenue there was a large amount of water across the southbound lane. The officer turned around and found the vehicle, a black 2013 Ford CMX, on its top. The driver, Ricardo De Jesus Lopez, 19, of Denison, was out of the vehicle and was trying to get his belongings out. De Jesus Lopez said he hit the water crossing the road and lost control of the vehicle. He said he was not injured. He also stated he had only a learner’s permit and no insurance on the vehicle.  The vehicle received $10,000 damage. Lopez was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability.

June 5, 1:10 p.m.: The Denison Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident that happened near Industrial Drive. Ricardo Maurico Espino Zarazua, 32, of Denison, was backing a gray 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee from its stall at the Smithfield parking lot. His vehicle collided with a black 2013 Ford Taurus that was parked in the next stall. The Taurus received $1,500 damage to the rear driver side and the Grand Cherokee received $1,200 damage to the front passenger side.

June 7, 11:23 p.m.: Pah Y Kho, 25, of Denison, was arrested for public intoxication.

June 8, 10:06 a.m.: Ramon De La Cruz-Iniguez, 24, of Denison, was arrested for domestic abuse – assault of pregnant person impeding flow of air/blood, a Class D felony, and interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor. The criminal complaint filed in district court says De La Cruz-Iniguez, physically resisted officers’ attempts to handcuff him.

June 9, 1:56 a.m.: Jesus Xavier Garcia, 18, of Denison, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
