Retiring DCSD administrators honored

The Denison School Board conducted a family reception for two Denison Community School District administrators who were at the table for their last regular board meeting on Monday.

Mike Pardun is retiring as superintendent after 20 years in that position and after 35 total years in education.

Scott Larson is retiring as the district’s business manager after 16 years and a total of 36 years in education.

School board president Derrick Lambert said, “We always talk about the Monarch Way, and it was there before but you guys definitely molded it as a great team.”
