Crawford County Farm Bureau presented a program about trees at Norelius Community Library last week Tuesday. The county Farm Bureau donated the book, "My Grandpa, My Tree, and Me,” which was read by Alayna Hansen, Loess Hills in the Classroom program coordinator. Loess Hills in the Classroom is sponsored by Farm Bureau.
Sara Ball, Department of Natural Resources forester for western Iowa, had a tote full of items that were wood or made of wood to show the children. She explained how products and buildings made of wood are all around them.
