Water Watch continues

After reviewing the water table and the level of water in the wells, the Denison Municipal Utilities (DMU) Board agreed that the Water Watch conservation effort should continue to stay in place.

DMU General Manager Rory Weis said that last year the Water Watch was lifted in September, but the recommendation was to leave it in place for the time being.

Customers are encouraged to conserve on the use of water.

One of the conservation measures is no watering of yards or gardens between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
