The Red, White & Boom! Bill Riley Talent Show took place at Washington Park in Denison on Monday afternoon. The event was produced by HardCor Performing Arts of Denison and featured 18 acts. The show was split into two divisions: sprouts (2-12 years old) and seniors (13-21 years old). The third place act in each division received a prize of $25; second place received $50; first place received $75. The contestants receiving the first place award in each category will go on to perform at the Iowa State fair in August as the representatives of the Red, White & Boom! Bill Riley Talent Show.
