Items on the scavenger hunt were the following:

American flag, insect, a map of anything, something blue, something to eat, a bicycle, boat/canoe/kayak, flower, bird, something red, birdhouse, stripes, something white, animal/mammal, something fuzzy, a rock or leaf that looks something (funny shaped.)

Sarge, a Siberian husky, became the most photographed dog at Yellow Smoke Park on Monday. The reason is that Sarge fulfilled two items on the list for the Red, White & Boom! scavenger hunt – an animal or mammal and something fuzzy. Treyton Krajicek, of Denison, and his mother, Jackie, paddle Treyton’s cardboard boat named the S.S. Spiderman, also called Spider Sailor. The boat was the only one of three entries to complete the time trial, so Treyton and his mom won the prize for that category. Treyton also won the prize for best construction.
