August 30, 2:13 p.m.: Nicholas William Smutko, 39, and Jessica Lynn Turner, 29, were arrested for domestic abuse assault.

August 30, 8:18 p.m.: Lt. Perdew with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a case of possible trespassing. A resident of Charter Oak said that the door to his camper was open and believes that people from the City of Charter Oak have been coming onto his property and taking pictures. He said he did not see anyone. The subject was advised to get security cameras and to document who is coming onto his property.

August 31, 2:21 p.m.: The Crawford County Ambulance was called for a lift assist in the 2000 block of Highway 39, Denison.
