Orthopedic surgeon joins CCMH staff

The Board of Trustees of Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) announced the addition of Dr. Benjamin Burkett, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, to the CCMH medical team.

Dr. Burkett has extensive experience in general orthopedics and has completed fellowship training in spine surgery, making him a versatile and valuable addition to CCMH. His comprehensive skill set includes performing hip and knee replacements, joint reconstruction, arthroscopy, fracture management, and trauma surgeries.

"I am thrilled to join Crawford County Memorial Hospital and serve the community here," said Dr. Burkett. "I am looking forward to a busy practice where I can provide high-quality orthopedic care. I’m very excited about the opportunities that Crawford County and CCMH offer."

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Burkett is eager to continue his career in the Midwest. He values the strong sense of community and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on his patients' lives. His commitment to providing exceptional care and his desire to be part of a dedicated team make him an ideal fit for CCMH.

"We are delighted to welcome Dr. Burkett to our hospital and our community," said Erin Muck, CEO of Crawford County Memorial Hospital. "Dr. Burkett's dedication to excellence and patient-centered care aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are excited to have him join our team."
