Monarch varsity girls third at Shenandoah golf tournament

 
 

The Denison-Schleswig varsity girls placed third with a score of 425 in a tournament at Shenandoah on Thursday, April 11.

Lewis Central placed first with a score of 397 and Harlan was second with a score of 422.

Glenwood placed fourth at 451, Abraham Lincoln was fifth at 454 and Clarina was sixth at 512.

Scores for the Monarch girls were the following.

Emily Bahnsen, 102

Isabel Jepsen, 104

Quinlan Bygness, 107

Maggie Hennings, 112

Ava Pauley, 112

Myah Schwarte, 114

The best four scores are counted for the team total.

D-S girls top Storm Lake in golf

 
 

The Denison-Schleswig varsity girls won a golf match against Storm Lake 211-221 at Majestic Hills Golf Course in Denison on Monday, April 15. The match had been originally scheduled for April 19.

The top four scores for the Monarchs were Emily Bahnsen with 50, Myah Schwarte with 52, Ava Pauley with 54 and Quinlan Bygness with 55.

Maggie Hennings shot a 57 for the Monarchs and Isabel Jepsen shot a 59.

Maddy Reveling shot a 50 for Storm Lake.
